The Clarksville Police Department is now offering online reporting for Clarksville residents to take advantage of.
According to a news release, the new link added to the Clarksville Police Department website at the end of October will allow citizens to file a “non-emergency” police report using the new Police to Citizen Online Reporting System.
One can access that page from the police department’s website by clicking the “File A Report” link, which takes you to the P2C page—from there, you can report an incident.
There are certain criteria that must be met to file a report online, such as the incident must have occurred within the city limits of Clarksville, there are no known suspects, witnesses or physical evidence that needs collecting or processing, and you are at least 18-years-old.
The Online Reporting System will save citizens money by allowing patrol officers and dispatchers time to focus on more urgent calls.
