One person was injured and another is facing charges following a single-vehicle crash in Madisonville on Saturday.
According to the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to the 2300 block of Rose Creek Road in Madisonville at approximately 11 p.m. for reports of vehicle that had run off the road.
Investigation determined that a vehicle operated by 31-year-old Austin Staser of Madisonville had traveled off the roadway and into the yard of a residence, where it struck a tiled driveway and traveled all the way through to the other side of the yard. Alcohol is listed as a factor in the collision.
A passenger in the car, 35-year-old Cayla Garber of White Plans, was injured in the crash. Staser was arrested and charged with first-offense DUI with aggravated circumstances
