One injured in early Monday morning I-24 wreck

A Clarksville man was injured in a single-vehicle crash on I-24 in Christian County early Monday morning.

According to the report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened just before 1 a.m. as the vehicle was on the eastbound exit ramp from Fort Campbell Boulevard onto I-24.  That vehicle reportedly slid into the guardrail as the result of excessive speed, striking the guardrail and leaving the roadway before coming to a stop.

A passenger in the vehicle, 30-year-old Dustin Tuberville of Clarksville, was transported to Tennova Health Hospital for treatment of injuries. 

The driver of the vehicle was not found.
