One flown to Skyline from Pembroke Road crash

A Hopkinsville man was flown to a Nashville hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Pembroke Road Wednesday night.

According to the Hopkinsville police report, both vehicles involved were heading westbound on Pembroke Road, when the vehicle driven by 34-year-old Demarcus Williams of Hopkinsville rear-ended another vehicle driven by 59-year-old Derrick Quarles of Russellville.

Williams was flown by helicopter to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of multiple injuries.  Quarles was not injured.

Investigation into the circumstances of the crash is underway. Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
