North Elm St. shooting suspect turns self in

The woman sought in connection to a shooting on North Elm Street early Sunday morning has turned herself in as of Tuesday morning.

The Hopkinsville Police Department had been searching for 31-year-old Annia Williams of Hopkinsville to serve her with an arrest warrant on first-degree assault. She is accused of shooting a male victim in his 30’s at the Mason Pointe Apartments on North Elm Street, sending him to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of serious injuries.

Tuesday morning, Williams turned herself in at the Christian County Jail. She is currently lodged there on a $500,000 bond.
