Eighth-ranked Trigg County outlasted visiting Christian County 10-4 Monday in a high school softball game.
Katie Smith hit a home run and Chloe Almy and Alondra Rodriguez both went 3-for-4 for the Lady Colonels.
The game was tied 3-3 entering the bottom of the third inning, but Trigg County erupted for four runs and never looked back.
Livia Breckel drove in three runs to lead the Lady Wildcats (24-5).
The Lady Colonels slipped to 16-9-2 and are scheduled to play host to Crittenden County on Thursday.
