Motorcyclist severely injured in I-24 hit-and-run

A motorcyclist was badly injured in a hit-and-run collision on I-24 Friday night. 

According to the Hopkinsville police report, a motorcycle operated by 27-year-old Nichlos Hilley of Clarksville was heading north on Fort Campbell Boulevard near the I-24 ramp when an SUV reportedly failed to stop at a red light and struck Hilley. 

The SUV then left the scene prior to the arrival of first responders. 

Hilley was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of severe injuries.
