Trigg County and the City of Cadiz is wasting no time getting into the Christmas spirit, as they’re inviting the public to participate in their annual Mingle and Jingle event this Friday and Saturday.
This event is a great chance to take a tour of what businesses call Cadiz home, all the way from I-24 done to the Golden Pond Distillery, and Cadiz Tourism Director Beth Sumner says they’ll be handing out special goody bags on Thursday night. But you better get to Cadiz Baptist Church from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. because they’ll be going fast.
On Friday and Saturday, folks can enjoy holiday shopping and open houses, and over 25 vendors are taking part. You can find a map of locations on the Cadiz-Trigg County Tourist and Convention Commission website, and Sumner says the hours of operation will vary by vendor.
Sign up for a drawing at each vendor and get an additional chance to win a $250 cash prize, and different vendors will also have their own drawings and giveaways, deals and sales.
Sumner says this event is a good way to get into that Christmas spirit, come away with a unique gift, and support the many businesses and artisans that call this area home.
As we enter the busiest time of the year for holiday shopping, it’s good to remember to support those local, small businesses that call your community home.Â
