Former Hopkinsville High School pitcher Easton McGee saw his first action Wednesday afternoon for the Milwaukee Brewers since he was called up from Triple-A Nashville earlier this week.
The 6-foot-6 right-hander entered the game in the top of the ninth inning and the Brewers trailing Baltimore, 3-2. McGee retired all three batters he faced and struck out one in his only inning of work.
The Brewers tied the game in the bottom of the ninth to force extra innings.
However, the Orioles went on to win the game in 11 innings, 8-4.
