Former Hopkinsville High School baseball star Easton McGee made his second appearance of the year Saturday night for the Nashville Sounds.
McGee, a 6-foot-6 right-handed pitcher, tossed three innings in relief for the Sounds. McGee gave up four hits and one run in an 8-1 loss to the Charlotte Knights in Nashville.
The former Tiger is with the Sounds on a rehab assignment after suffering an elbow injury last year that cost him most of the 2023 season with the Seattle Mariners.
In his two stints this season with the Sounds, McGee has tossed five innings, given up seven hits and allowed two runs. He has an ERA of 3.60.
