Mayor Knight set to share his fiscal year budget recommendations

Hopkinsville Mayor, J.R. Knight is set to host a press conference on Friday to announce his budget recommendations for the 2024-2025 fiscal year.

The community is invited to attend the conference where they will hear from Knight regarding his fiscal strategy and budget priorities. Following the conference, Knight’s proposed budget will be reviewed by City Council during a series of Committee of the Whole meetings.

Friday’s budget press conference will be at 9 a.m. at the Hopkinsville Municipal Building and will also be livestreamed on the City of Hopkinsville’s YouTube channel.
