The Hopkinsville Lady Tigers placed four runners in the top 25 Saturday and took home fourth place in the Graves County Eagle Classic Cross Country Meet in Mayfield.
Lauren Mayes continued her good season with a third-place individual performance with a time of 20:28.2
Evelyn Bangart continued her improvement, finishing 20th in 22:42.4, followed by Rebecca Wood (22, 23:00.4) and Kaydon Coats (25, 23:23).
Other Lady Tigers competing during the regular season finale on Saturday included Amerah Acree (57, 27:49.4) and Luanna Acree (58, 28:08.1).
Graves County won the girls’ team event with 42 points, followed by McCracken County (61), Dawson Springs (74) and Hopkinsville (81).
In the boys’ meet, Tyson Cavinder ran one of his best times of the year at 17:06.9 and finished sixth overall.
Savior Davis ran 16th and finished in 18:03.6. Fernando Ginez-Rojas also ran for the Tigers, finishing 118th in 23:05.2.
Dawson Springs won the boys’ team meet with 54 points followed by Paducah Tilghman (86) and Christian County (103).
Both the Tigers and Lady Tigers runners will be participating in the Class 2-A, Region 1 meet Saturday at Marshall County.
