A man wanted on a vehicular homicide charge out of Clarksville has been located deceased in Memphis, Tennessee.
According to the Clarksville Police Department, 64-year-old Stanley Cliff had been sought on multiple warrants in connection with a fatal crash that happened in April of 2021, including vehicular homicide, on New Providence Boulevard.
The collision killed 55-year-old Dwight Carter of Clarksville, who was operating a motorcycle when Cliff reportedly pulled out into his path, resulting a collision. Carter would die of his injuries just a few days later.
Cliff fled the scene of the crash in 2021, and was indicted by a Montgomery County Grand Jury later that year.
Clarksville police were notified on Monday at Cliff was found deceased in Memphis last week.
