A Hopkinsville man was arrested Thursday after he allegedly pointed a gun a someone during an argument on Blooming Grove Road.
According to the Hopkinsville Police Department report, officers responded to the 1200 block of Blooming Grove Road around 11:30 a.m. for reports of a fight between father and son. Upon arrival, officers made contact with 53-year-old David Moore of Hopkinsville, who was allegedly intoxicated.
A loaded handgun was on sight on a couch—the victim states he and Moore had been in a verbal altercation until Moore went into his bedroom, then came back and pointed a gun at the victim’s head.
Moore was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment.
