The City of Madisonville is inviting all to have a holiday to remember with the fourth annual Mistletoe Art Stroll on December 6.
According to a news release, the event will take place from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on that Friday in downtown Madisonville, and there will be art on display, shopping, food and fun activities for people to enjoy. You can support small businesses and local artisans, as each downtown business will have their doors open and will be hosting an artisan.
There will be over 30 artisans featuring their one-of-kind art pieces, including handcrafted jewelry, pottery, leather items, paintings, locally poured candles, custom home décor and much more.
The community Christmas Tree Lighting will take place at 5:30 p.m. in front of the historic courthouse, where there will also be a brass ensemble playing Christmas music, carols, along with numerous downtown activities.
And new this year, the City of Madisonville will host Downtown Lights and Ice during the Mistletoe Strolls, featuring ice skating, light displays and seasonal treats.
The Mistletoe Art Stroll will be held rain or shine as most vendors and artisans will be located indoors. For additional information, call the Hopkins County Tourist and Convention Commission at 270-821-4171.
