Madisonville sweeps University Heights in tennis

Madisonville-North Hopkins visited the Ruff Park tennis courts on Monday afternoon and came away with a sweep of the University Heights Academy tennis teams. 

The Lady Maroons won all eight singles matches and both doubles matches. 

Meanwhile, the Maroons took all six singles matches and one singles match. UHA’s team of Stephen Whitecotton and Teerth Shah won their doubles match, 8-5. 

Whitecotton also squared off against Caleb Tagg in a singles match between two of the top players in the region. Tagg took the match 6-3, 6-2.
