The City of Madisonville has selected Sports Facilities Companies out of Florida to manage their up-and-coming sports and recreation facility.
Dubbed the Kentucky Sports Factory, the facility is set to open its doors in mid-December, bringing six hardwood-floor basketball courts that are convertible to 12 volleyball courts and 22 pickleball courts to the region, along with batting cages, party rooms, office spaces, and indoor turf soccer field and concessions.
Sports Facilities Companies will advise on the management and operations of the facility, handling all aspects of daily operations, including brand development, programming and events scheduling, marketing, staffing, guest services and maintenance.
Mayor Kevin Cotton says, “The decision to bring SFC on board is a significant step forward for our new facility. Their unparalleled experience and commitment to excellence will undoubtedly allow us to deliver a state-of-the-art sports and recreation hub for our community and visitors alike.”
