The Christian County Animal Shelter announced the return of their annual Dog Days of Summer fundraising event and Shelter Director, Melissa Goff says they are putting out the call for vendors.
Goff is inviting local businesses, crafters, food trucks and folks who may just want to have a yard sale to register as vendors for the event which runs from June 6 to June 8. To be a vendor costs $25 per day or $50 for all three days. Goff says all of the funds they receive from vendor reservations will go toward the shelter’s Get ‘Em Done Program.
Funds from the program go toward spaying and neutering abandoned or stray animals. Goff says the program serves to ensure that animals don’t have any accidental litters.
Along with a variety of vendors, Goff says they will also have $15 micro chipping services, discounted adoption fees and bounce houses.
Dogs will be discounted by $30 and cats will be discounted by $10.
Those interested in being a vendor at the event can visit the shelter or call them at 270-887-4175. The Dog Days of Summer event will run from June 6 to June 8 and be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
