The Hopkinsville Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify three suspects who were recently caught on surveillance cameras stealing items from cars.
The thefts took place at apartment complex parking lots, and the department shared that the trio reportedly stole two firearms. The department advises that stolen guns don’t just disappear, they are often used in additional crimes.
Citizens are also reminded to never leave guns or other valuable items in their cars and to lock their vehicles.
Videos of the suspects are posted to the Hopkinsville Police Department Facebook page, and folks with any information on the thefts are asked to contact the Hopkinsville-Christian County ECC at 270-890-1300.
