To raise funds to support their mission in the community, all while having fun, the Hopkinsville Kiwanis Club is hosting its fourth annual Golf Scramble in May.
Kiwanis Club President Amy Jones and members Nikki Chambers and Troy Adams recently appeared on WHOP to share how folks can register for the golf scramble and how the funds will be used to support local children. Jones says the golf scramble gets started at 7 a.m. with registration on May 29 at Western Hills Golf Course.
Along with giving academic scholarships, the Kiwanis Club hosts the annual Willie Renshaw Warm the Children Initiative, which provides winter apparel for children in need. This year, Chambers says she hopes to buy winter clothes for 300 kiddos, and the golf scramble can support that effort.
Those interested in registering a four-person team or sponsoring a part of the golf scramble can visit hopkinsvillekiwanis.com or call 270-484-2648. Jones spotlighted some of the sponsorship opportunities.Â
The registration deadline is May 15.
