The Hopkinsville Lady Tigers volleyball team earned its first victory of the season Monday night with a straight set win over Trigg County at Tiger Gym.
Madysen Taggart had three kills, six aces and four digs to lead the Lady Tigers to a 25-9, 25-20, 25-16 victory.
Maliah Miller added a kill, a block and an ace for Hopkinsville. Saralynn Major had a block and two aces for Hoptown (1-2), which plays tonight at Heritage Christian Academy in a District 8 match.
The Lady Tigers also won the freshman and JV matches.
