Marshall County scored two second-half goals and handed visiting University Heights Academy its first girls’ high school soccer loss of the season on Saturday in Draffenville.
UHA had taken a 1-0 lead on a Kendall Hancock goal in the first half.
Madison Williams had seven saves in the game.
The second game against Daviess County was canceled after the Lady Blazers’ coaches learned about a UHA student’s death on Saturday.
The Lady Blazers (6-1) will return to action tonight at Paducah St. Mary in the All “A” Classic Sectional.
