HOPKINSVILLE, KY (February 7, 2024). Christian County High School Athletic Director Trey Wheeler has announced Stacy Crick has been named as the new head coach for the Colonels golf program. Crick is employed as a school counselor at CCHS and is currently also the head girls golf coach.

“Last year, I had the privilege of working with the boys golf team in an assistant coach capacity,” said Coach Stacy Crick. “It gave me the opportunity to get to know the boys and become familiar with their skill set. Having that insight will help me create an approach to both develop existing skills and work to improve various aspects of each individual’s game. There is a lot of talent on this team among both young and veteran players. I see the potential and believe they’re capable of posting some very competitive scores. They’re also a great group of boys and a lot of fun! I couldn’t be more excited to step into the head coach role.”

Crick played golf at Belmont University and Brescia University during her collegiate career.  She previously held the title of assistant golf coach for boys and girls at CCHS in 2008-09.  She was head girls golf coach at Hopkins County Central High School from 2012-2014.

“We are very excited to have Coach Crick as our Head Boys Golf Coach,” said AD Trey Wheeler. “Her work ethic, dedication, and knowledge of the game of golf is going to be a great addition for our program. We are excited to have Coach Crick as our Head Boys and Girls Golf Coach.”
