Lady Colonels drop 1st 3 games at South Warren tourney

The Christian County Lady Colonels will look to salvage a win in the First Bank Holiday Bash at South Warren today as they take on host South Warren at 10 a.m. in the fifth-place game.

Christian County, which is now 3-6 on the season, fell 67-54 on Sunday to undefeated Barren County (11-0). Anaysia Bagwell had 20 points, six rebounds, and five assists and Carliah and Carlie Hobson combined to score 21 points and grab 15 rebounds in the loss.

On Saturday, the Lady Colonels dropped a 63-41 decision to Daviess County.

Genesis McGee had 13 points and Dayja George added nine in the defeat.

Earlier on Saturday, Christian County fell to Central Hardin 62-52. Bagwell led the way for the Lady Colonels with 22 points. Carliah Hobson added 10.
