It was a busy day on the local golf courses on Tuesday afternoon.
At Boots Randolph Golf Course in Cadiz, University Heights Academy’s Campbell Lindsey shot a 1-under-par 35 to earn medalist honors in a four-team match with Trigg County, Calloway County, and Lyon County.
Lindsey led the Lady Blazers to the team win as UHA finished with a 172. Trigg County had a 199, led by Emma Dowell’s 38. Calloway County and Lyon County did not have a team score.
For UHA, Caroline Tucker shot a 41, Allie Sandifer had a 47, and Ella Perry carded a 49.
In the boys’ match, UHA scored a 162 to easilty win the match by 44 shots over Calloway (206) and Trigg County (224). Lyon County did not had a team score.
UHA’s Bryson Turner earned medalist honors with a 38. Courtland Gibson was one shot back with a 39.
Jackson Flynn (42), Waylon Johnson (43), and Nash McAfee (45) also played for the Blazers.
