KYTC to host public meeting in Central City concerning road improvements

Officials from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet are hosting a public meeting on Tuesday in Muhlenberg County concerning improvements to Exit 58 of the Western Kentucky Parkway.

The cabinet will be providing information about improvements coming to the exit that are expected to improve traffic flow and safety at the U.S. 431 interchange of the parkway in Central City.

The Cabinet’s development team is considering two methods to increase roadway space and reduce lane weaving at the interchange. The project is still in the design phase and is expected to start in spring 2028.

The meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Madisonville Community College campus in Muhlenberg County at 406 West Everly Brothers Blvd.
