Kentucky Farm Bureau has named Kori Beth Thomas of Allen County the 2024 Farm Women of the Year.
The award is presented annually to a woman in Kentucky agriculture that presents outstanding achievements and honors their efforts to improve rural life.
KFB President Eddie Melton says, Thomas is an incredible role model for production agriculture and is a shining example of excellence. He says she has not just made an impact through her family farm, but has become an advocate for farming at all levels, setting the standards for future generations.
Thomas and her husband, own and operate an orchard and greenhouse, along with their commercial beef cattle. Having her hand in all aspects of agriculture life Thomas has been able to share her love for the industry with so many.
Thomas says, “Farm is not just a career, it is a way of life. A true calling.”
Thomas and her husband have optimism at heart and will continue to be a part of the industry that has given so much to them.
