The Trigg County Chamber of Commerce is welcoming a new Membership and Events Director.
According to a news release, Karen Sue C. Stanfield will serve in that position, stepping into her new role on January 5 of 2026. Stanfield is a former small business owner with roughly 25 years of experience in program development, organizational leadership and community engagement. As a newcomer to Cadiz, she’s already fairly active in the community through various volunteer services.
Stanfield has created and maintained multiple farmers markets, including a large online farmer and vendor market place known as iPICKHERE.com, reflecting a commitment to local enterprise and sustainable community growth. Trigg County Chamber officials say they look forward to seeing the leadership and enthusiasm Stanfield will bring to the Membership Director role as the organization continues to serve local businesses and the broader community.
