Following a multi-agency investigation, three stolen vehicles and two firearms were recovered and two juveniles were arrested on Sunday.
Deputies from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report concerning a stolen vehicle on Flowers Road. The vehicle was later found wrecked and abandoned in a ditch in front of the owner’s home.
Witnesses in the area reportedly told deputies that they saw juveniles in the area around the time of the vehicle theft. While investigating, deputies received a report concerning a car parked in a field. The car was reportedly stolen out of LaRue County.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office reportedly located the two juveniles in possession of another stolen vehicle. They also reportedly had two stolen handguns.
The juveniles were charged with theft by unlawful taking of a firearm, two counts of motor vehicle theft and first-degree criminal mischief.
