An investigation is underway in Clarksville following a shooting in the area of Chinook Circle Saturday afternoon.
According to the Clarksville Police Department, officers responded to reports of a shooting around 2 p.m. and found a 16-year-old male victim who had sustained a gunshot wound to the upper thigh. He was transported to Tennova Healthcare and his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
Preliminary investigation determined this to be a targeted incident.
