An Illinois man has died following a diving accident on Christian Quarry Road Sunday.
First responders arrived at the Pennyroyal Scuba Center just after noon Sunday for reports that a diver had experienced a diving emergency and was unresponsive. Crews rushed him to Jennie Stuart Medical Center with CPR in progress, but he would ultimately be pronounced deceased.
Christian County Deputy Coroner Christy Adams has identified the victim as 31-year-old Kyle Walder of Bloomington, Illinois.
