The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating the theft of firearms from two different vehicles Sunday and Monday.
According to the police report, unknown suspects got into a vehicle on North Elm Street sometime Sunday and took a .22 caliber semiautomatic pistol valued at $400 from the inside.
Then on Monday, a victim reported that sometime in the last month, an unknown suspect entered a vehicle on Bradshaw Road and stole a 9-millimeter handgun valued at $300.
No suspects are listed on either reported.
