The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred on South Jessup Street last week.
According to the police report, an unknown suspect entered a residence in the 400 block of Jessup sometime last Thursday and stole an AR-15 firearm from inside, valued at approximately $500.
The incident is being investigated as first-degree burglary, which is a felony.
