The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating after shots were fired into a home and a vehicle on McHenry Street Friday night.
The incident happened late Friday night into Saturday morning when an unknown suspect fired shots at a location in the 2000 block of McHenry Street, hitting both the home and a vehicle. No one was injured in the shooting, though there were individuals inside both the vehicle that was struck and the home.
The report from Hopkinsville police states that there was nearly $7,000 in damages.
No suspects are listed on the report and the shooting is being investigated as first-degree wanton endangerment and first-degree criminal mischief.
