The Hopkinsville boys’ tennis team earned a 3-0 victory over host Webster County in a high school match on Thursday afternoon.
Aiden Riley claimed a 6-0, 6-2 singles win over the Trojans’ Maddox Hibbs and Jesus Tomas defeated Josue Morales 8-3.
In the girls’ match, Webster County defeated the Lady Tigers 5-1.
Evelyn Bangart continued her good play to start the season and Mylee McDowell 8-5 for Hoptown’s lone win.
The Lady Tigers’ doubles team of Chiani Leak and Brooke Stewart went to a three-set tiebreaker falling 3-6, 6-3, 7-10.
