Nearly 200 golfers participated in the Christian County Invitational on Saturday at the Western Hills Golf Course.
In boys’ play, Owensboro won the team title with a 284, followed by McCracken County (292) and Madisonville-North Hopkins (305).
Hopkinsville was without its No. 1 player, but still shot a team score of 347.
Isaiah Wood led the way for the Tigers with an 83, followed by Henry Riggs, who had his season best score of 84. Ryan Martin had an 85. Sam Riggs and Matt Baker carded 95 and 99, respectively.
In the girls’ tournament, Marshall County won the team title with a 289, easilty defeating second place South Warren (304) and Barren County (317).
South Warren’s Sydney McClanahan won a scorecard playoff with Daviess County’s Claire Reynolds. Both shot a 66. Marshall County’s Kate Roberts carded a 67.
Hopkinsville’s lone female representative Cate Blane shot a 78.
