The Hoptown Hoppers were rained out of their game with the Paducah Chiefs on Monday evening, but the team announced Tuesday morning on their Facebook page that the game will be made up tonight at Brooks Stadium.
Hoptown is 0-7 on the season and the only winless team in the Ohio Valley League. They lost to the Chiefs 2-0 in Hopkinsville on June 2. Paducah enters tonight’s game at 4-3 on the season.
Currently, former Trigg County High School star Aidon Butts leads the Hoppers in batting with a .375 average.
The Hoppers’ next home game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Christian County High School. Airtime for Wednesday’s game is 6:15 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm and 953thefarm.com.
