The Hoptown Hoppers are hoping to get back into action tonight at home against the Fulton Railroaders, weather permitting.Â
A late afternoon shower forced the cancellation of the Hoppers’ game Saturday night with Paducah. Sunday was a scheduled off day for Hoptown.
The Hoppers will begin the final week of the 2026 Ohio Valley League regular season a game-and-a-half behind Henderson for first place in the league standings.Â
The Flash were able to get in a game Sunday night, an 18-5 win over Madisonville. Hoptown remains 20-9 on the season while the Flash is now 23-9. The Flash will visit Tiger Field for a doubleheader starting at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
The Railroaders enter tonight’s game in fifth place in the standings with a 10-22 record.
It is Agriculture Night at Tiger Field tonight. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. and airtime is at 6:15 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm and 953thefarm.com.
