The City of Hopkinsville will host a town hall on March 31, highlighting the Lot Next Door program and answering public questions on the program.
According to a news release, the Lot Next Door program allow eligible neighboring property owners to acquire certain vacant lots that are directly next to their property. It’s designed to help return vacant land into productive use and out of the care of the City.
The Town Hall will take place at 5 p.m. at Hopkinsville City Hall on March 31, where city staff will walk attendees through the steps involved in the program, eligibility requirements and they’ll discuss how the application and review process works. Residents will also be able to ask questions and get answers about the program and how it works.
