Host Montgomery County defeated Hopkinsville 82-46 Sunday in a boys’ high school basketball game at the Gateway Holiday Classic. Curtis Dillard had nine points to lead the Tigers.
The Tigers trailed 29-9 after one quarter and 54-23 at halftime as their offense struggled.
Hoptown (5-4) will play Scott County at 3 p.m. today.
On Saturday night, the Tigers roared past Henry County 82-48. James Bradley Jr. had 20 points and Jonovan Leavell added 18 for the Tigers.
