A Hopkinsville man is facing an assault charge following an incident on Noel Avenue on Tuesday.
According to the report from the Hopkinsville Police Department, officers responded to a location in the 500 block of Noel Avenue, where 63-year-old Luther Nolan had allegedly punched a male victim in the face with a closed fist, multiple times.
The victim reportedly had visible swelling and bruising to his face and was bleeding when officers arrived.
Nolan was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
