Hopkinsville High Track Results from Henderson Co. 3-16-2024

Seniors Ian Rossario Alicea and Gavin Alston lead Hopkinsville High boys
to a second-place tie with Owensboro Apollo to each earn 72 points.
Rossario placed 1st in two event Long Jump and 110 High Hurdles, adding
two seconds in the 300M hurdles and the 4x4relay. Alston took home a
first in the 200M and seconds on the 4×4 relay and the open 400M. The
4×8 relay of Camden Ezell, Carlo Jones, Lamareon Jeffers and Savior
Davis was 7th. Keyshun Teal was fourth in the high hurdles and seventh
in the low hurdles. The 4×2 relay of Rossario, Tavares
Burgess, TJ Laliberte, Alston finished seventh. Tyson Cavinder was eighth in the 1600m, and
seventh place went to the 4×100 meter relay of Triston Dillard, Triston
Kay, James Bradley and Willie Ennels.

Girls’ team finished 9th of 14 teams with 30 points.

For the Lady Tigers the 4x 8 relay team of Grace Cansler, Rebecca Woods,
Kaydon Coats, Lauren Mayes placed 5th
The 4×200 relay of Janiyah Rhodes, Anarria Settles, Arniya Brown, Amaya
Burse placed 4th.
  The 4×100 relay of Janiyah Rhodes, AIreona Spikes, Arniya Brown, KaLajsha
Rowe placed 6th.
Lauren Mayes finished 6th in the 3200M. In the triple jump, Amaya Burse placed 2nd 29-04.00 8, with 6th place going to Antavia Shemwell, 26-10.25 28-01.00 3.
