Holiday Hoops Classic rolls on tonight, Saturday

The second day of the Toyota of Hopkinsville Holiday Hoops Classic begins tonight at 5:30 p.m. when Prolific Prep takes on Iowa United.

The game features some of the top high school players in the country including Darryn Peterson, who will be playing for Kansas next year, Winters Grady (Michigan), Mazi Mosley (LSU) and others. Iowa United features Navon Shabazz, who will play for Iowa.

Meanwhile, the Christian County Lady Colonels will play Graves County at 7 p.m. today. The F&M Bank Pregame show will air at 6:45 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm.

The last game of the night will feature Hopkinsville at Henderson County in a boys’ game at 8:30 p.m. The F&M Bank Pregame show will air at 8:15 on Newsradio 99.3 FM and 1230 AM WHOP.

On Saturday, all the action begins at 11:30 a.m. with HCA taking on Foundation Christian, followed by Prolific Prep against Wilson Academy at 1:15. Christian County is scheduled to play South Warren at 3 p.m. and Owensboro Catholic will take on Marshall County at 5. Owensboro and UHA tip off at 6:30 and the last game of the day features Hopkinsville against Wilson Academy at 8 p.m.

Tickets are available online at GoFan and can be purchased at the gate. However, there are no cash sales. Tickets for tonight’s session is 10 dollars and for Saturday it’s 12 dollars. A tournament pass is 20 dollars.
