As the holiday season approaches, shoppers and local business vendors filled the Hopkinsville Sportsplex for the fourth annual Holiday Hooplah Craft and Vendor Fair on Saturday.
The Holiday Hooplah is one of the biggest vendor fairs in Hopkinsville. This year it included nearly 100 vendors, door prizes, giveaways and food trucks. Sportsplex Facilities Coordinator Tony Henson says the vendor market completely filled up the basketball court side of the sportsplex which was a first.
Henson also talked about the wide range of vendors to shop from this year which included folks selling cupcakes, clothing, crochet crafts, woodwork decorations, custom laser cutting and much more.
The Holiday Hooplah started as a way to get more folks to come to the sportsplex and to also support local and small businesses. Henson says a majority of the vendors work out of their homes so shopping small does not get any smaller than the Holiday Hooplah craft market.
Those interested in being a vendor at the next Holiday Hooplah can follow the Sportsplex on Facebook to be notified of when applications open.
