Hopkinsville and Christian County High Schools are celebrating after both of their concert bands have received distinguished ratings at the KMEA Concert Assessment.
Both the Hopkinsville High School Symphonic Band and the Christian County High School Colonel Band received unanimous Distinguished ratings from all judges with the Kentucky Music Educators Association.
Officials from both programs gave all credit to the students for their hard work and commitment to excellence, which have yielded tremendous results.
