Heritage Christian Academy played its final home match of the 2025 high school volleyball season with “Pink Out” Thursday night and took on one of the favorites to capture the Region 2 championship.
Although Henderson County took a 3-0 victory, the Lady Warriors pushed the Lady Colonels to the limit in all three sets before falling 25-22, 27-25, 25-19.
Hadlee Hayes had nine kills, 12 digs, an ace, and a block to lead HCA while Taylor Barbee finished with seven kills and eight digs.
McKenzie McCarty had 18 of the team’s 24 assists and also added 14 digs. Allie Craft had 17 digs and Bralee Fowler added five kills and 16 digs.
Heritage ends its regular season with a 14-17 record while Henderson County improves to 22-9.
