A five-run third inning helped lift visiting Henderson County to an 8-5 high school baseball win over Christian County on Tuesday evening.
Henderson scored a run in the top of the first and padded the lead to 3-0 in the top of the second.
Christian County answered with a run in the bottom of the second when Thadius Toliver doubled home pinch runner Coalton Ingram.
However, the top of the third was a nightmare for Christian County as Henderson took advantage of three walks and a pair of Christian County errors to plate five runs and push the lead to 8-1.
The host Colonels rallied with four runs in the bottom of the sixth using two hits, an error, a walk, and a hit batsman.
Sebastian Dazey went 3-for-4 with two doubles and drove in two runs to lead the Christian County offensive attack. Eddie Davis also had a double and single.
