Spring has officially sprung, and to celebrate the change of the seasons, Vansauwa’s Tacos and Vegan Eats is inviting the community to its second annual Hello Spring Festival at Virginia Park.
Desaepa and Zirconia Vansauwa, the owners of Vansauwa’s Taco & Vegan Eats, decided to start the festival as a way to get folks back outside after winter. Desaepa Vansauwa says he is happy to have the festival back for a second year and calls it a chance for people new to Hopkinsville to learn more about their community and what it has to offer.
Vansauwa says this year they have a bigger food truck lineup, including Janae’s Italian Ice, DJ’s Lemonade, Sweet and Savory, Juicy Butts BBQ, Big Daddy’s Fish and Chicken, Vansauwa’s Taco & Vegan Eats and many others.
Then, Vansauwa says they have a wide variety of vendors, local artisans, craft activities for children and a garden shop. The festival will also have games such as corn hole, a kids zone with bounce houses, karaoke, a yoga area, line dancing and music.
The Festival will take over Virginia Park in Hopkinsville on March 28 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
