Nearly 200 golfers participated in the Christian County Invitational on Saturday at the Western Hills Golf Course.
In boys’ play, Owensboro won the team title with a 284, followed by McCracken County (292) and Madisonville-North Hopkins (305).
Heritage Christian Academy was represented by three golfers, including Carson Powell, who led the way with an 86.
Cruz Egbert had a 92 and Hunter Strader came in at 124.
Owensboro’s Jax Malone won the tournament with a 67, followed by Hancock County’s Dec Lewko (69) and Paducah Tilghman’s Evan Mack (69).
In the girls’ tournament, Marshall County won the team title with a 289, easilty defeating second place South Warren (304) and Barren County (317).
South Warren’s Sydney McClanahan won a scorecard playoff with Daviess County’s Claire Reynolds. Both shot a 66. Marshall County’s Kate Roberts carded a 67.
