Hardin Co. duo charged with felony theft in Hardin Co. for allegedly taking advantage of veterans

A Hardin County duo is facing serious felonies, in connection to investigation into C&P Garage, an organization accused of taking advantage of Kentucky veterans.

According to Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman, investigation into the misuse of funds has led to the indictment of 65-year-old Carlos Fernandez and 60-year-old Patricia Parrott, both of Radcliff.  That are charged with theft by unlawful taking, greater that $10,000 but less than $1 million, which is a Class C Felony.

The Attorney General’s Office of Consumer Protection secured the court order in a separate civil case to temporarily shut down the organization, saying the business misused funds and misrepresented its work with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
